“I’m SO Passionate About Cup Stacking!”
If you’re not familiar with cup stacking or sport stacking, prepare to have your mind blown. Not really, but it looks pretty neat. Cup stacking is about as pointless as juggling and competitive eating, but this video claims that is incredibly beneficial for kids’ hand-eye coordination. Could be true, but who cares?
The first section of this clip gives an overview of the sport and introduces us to a series of awkward little kids. The girl that plays all the musical instruments seriously needs to get over herself. Then we’re introduced to former gym teacher Bob Fox, the godfather of cup stacking. Seems like a nice enough guy, even though he looks like a cross between Doogie Howser and The Beast.
